Causal Campus is a project by me, Nina Weber. I hold a PhD in Behavioral Economics and have several years of experience as a survey researcher. Throughout my years working in research, one thing has always bothered me: Although we rely on people to participate in our research, we rarely—if ever—share what we have learned about their decision-making with them. Yet, understanding one’s own cognitive biases is incredibly helpful for making better choices in the future.

At the same time, businesses across all sectors use behavioral consultants to learn how to leverage cognitive biases in customers’ decision-making. With Causal Campus, I hope to do the same for individuals—but instead of exploiting biases, my goal is to help you recognize and reduce them. By providing personalized assessments and tools, I aim to make your decision-making more informed and less vulnerable to those who already take advantage of cognitive biases.
